Obama Seeks to Abolish World’s Nukes

PRAGUE (April 5) - Declaring the future of mankind at stake, President Barack Obama on Sunday said all nations must strive to rid the world of nuclear arms and that the U.S. had a “moral responsibility” to lead because no other country has used one.
A North Korean rocket launch upstaged Obama’s idealistic call to action, delivered in the capital of the Czech Republic, a former satellite of the Soviet Union. But Obama dismissed those who say the spread of nuclear weapons, “the most dangerous legacy of the Cold War,” cannot be checked.

I like the “because no other country has used one” crapola. People have killed far more than that without nukes which is ok. Using the nukes saved American and undoubtedly Japanese lives but Hussein isn’t a real American anyway so why would he care if a million were lost it’s a marxist talking point and the next 4 years will be full of them.

One of my friends is convinced that in 2012 we will feel the full wrath of the antichrist. Hard to argue against the merits of his baseless accusation.

While the “Western” world ignores the current plight of Palestinians imprisoned in Israel’s Gaza ghetto, the 6 decades old Palestinian Holocaust and Israel’s policy of terrorism, oppression and theft similarly goes unremarked in the mainstream media while Israeli crimes against humanity continue with impunity.

And this week, true to arrogant form, Israeli “diplomat” Dan Gillerman has issued the standard warning to Australia’s Prime Minister Kevin Rudd not to take part in a United Nations forum on racism where Israel’s horrific assault on the indiginous population is sure to be raised.

In fact, Gillerman declared that Israeli troops rampaging in Gaza should receive medals for breaking the truce, for deploying prohibited white phosperous as a weapon, for using civilians as human shields and for killing 1300 men, women and children.

Kennedy Knighted, But Don’t Call Him Sir

LONDON (March 4) - He won’t be allowed to call himself Sir Ted, but U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy has been awarded an honorary knighthood by Britain.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced the honor Wednesday during an address to a joint session of Congress in Washington. Kennedy, who is battling brain cancer, did not attend Brown’s speech.

In a bid to convince people that eating fish is bad, PETA has started a campaign in which the word fish will be banned, only to be replaced by the words Sea Kittens. This is what’s behind their reasoning:
