Wadah Khanfar, director general of the Al-Jazeera network, announced Burman’s appointment as managing editor on Wednesday.

There’s the lefty Media Bias again, heres hoping he ends up with a fatwah. Or Al Battar gets him.

When I received word that Tony Burman, the former head of CBC News, was moving over to Al Jazeera, I thought it was a spoof. Alas, I’m wrong.

Burman follows Avi Lewis to the jihadist propaganda arm.

I wonder how much back-pay they’ll get?

Well now you know why they don’t talk a lot about free speech it’s not a big issue in Saudi Arabia.

Luckily if no one watches them, they still get to steal 70$ a year off me.

With headquarters in Doha, Qatar, and international bureaus in cities such as London and Kuala Lumpur, Al-Jazeera English is available to millions of households around the globe.

Burman left CBC in July 2007, after 35 years with the public broadcaster, including seven as head of CBC’s news, current affairs and Newsworld services.

Bias? ya think,….
