Final day of Canada’s Farcical Soap Opera “As the Roo Turns”

Update:

The statements submitted to the Roo Court by the interveners on Macleans/Steyn’s behalf are now available at Andrew Coynes Blog.

The joint submission by the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association & The Canadian Association of Journalists, and the submission from the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (download only), as well as Julian Porter’s closing statement and the Outline of Maclean’s closing submission are all up.

First BCF now the MSM,…

VANCOUVER — A high-profile B.C. Human Rights Tribunal case over an article published in Maclean’s magazine is drawing passionate reaction from the public.

Hard to imagine how this is possible when their paper refuses to talk about the shenanigans of late behind HRC’s. Maybe people saw it on CNN, or read about it from a blog in Romania.

Claimant lawyer Faisal Joseph says anonymous members of the public have sent inappropriate e-mails to the tribunal and himself. Several Steyn supporters have openly criticized the tribunal in court.

See once Sharia law is openly pronounced then by god only appropriate emails will be allowed. This is pathetic do they talk about his background, about how he doesn’t think bloggers should be able to say anything negative about him even if it’s the truth. Why shouldn’t the tribunals be criticized it’s our right to criticize them as free people.

Oh well at least they finally printed something. Oh and it’s the Sun’s right not to. Thats the essence of free speech even if not doing it makes them look silly.

Funny how they quote the claimants lawyer not the claimant who I think is the one who says every jew over 18 in Israel could be killed. Or the defendant, or his lawyer.
