I remember when Betty Granger said some of the drug users and terrorists we let in were not in canadas best interests, the MSM’s went ballistic from Halifax to BC rabid headlines, now almost nothing.

Imagine how many front pages it would have been on if a conservative had said we should kill 150 Indians. Must be nice to be the spoiled political child having the sun shining out of your anus. Then all the liberal voters as they drule up the stairs to the voting booth can tell themselves our party is nice we never do that well at least no one reports it.

“I have asked for and received the resignation of Simon Bedard as the Liberal Party of Canada’s candidate in the riding of Quebec,” said Liberal Leader Stephane Dion Thursday. “Clearly, Mr. Bedard agrees that the statements he has made regarding First Nations people are not compatible with the beliefs and values of the Liberal Party of Canada.”

“Bedard, a former radio host, proposed at the time of the 1990 Oka crisis that the army use force to lift Mohawk Warrior barricades, even if that meant as many as 150 deaths.

This week he told Quebec City’s Le Soleil daily newspaper that, “maybe we should have done it because 17 years later, it’s still the same.”
Nothing about this in the news broadcasts, though blanket coverage of Sparrow’s remarks. Huh?

Look heres the winnipeg free press who like everyone else ran the granger story on the front page in 2000. Silent oh well at least you are here and not there and they can sit there the next time layoffs come around and wonder why, why do people not want to pay for our propaganda.

Survey says St. Boniface will switch to Tories

In the first provincial snapshot of the federal election, Stephen Harper’s Tories are well out in front and poised to add another seat to their Manitoba riding count.

DAN LETT: Day 5 - The lull before the lull?

Harper would open up firms to foreigners, with security caveats
Official’s blunder shakes Tories
Early gaffes put focus on war rooms
Oh, yeah… there are election issues
Former MP Cadman’s widow, now a Tory candidate, has clammed up
More Election 2008 coverage

Do you see it mentioned anywhere that a liberal was ok with killing 150 Indians?

Also they seem to have a lot of articles on polls vs issues and a lot on how boring the election is without covering the Bedard story. Funny no and I mean I haven’t gone to one blog agonizing about what to write about. Even Leftdog. And some people pay for MSM’s the sad thing is that even as they basically abuse their customers by withholding news from them they get advertising dollars. Lull before the lull indeed. Advertisers should realize that when the share value is plummeting on MSM’s that maybe their dollars should go to places where the ratings are on the rise, ie the blogs.

I did a search to no avail too

But the Winnipeg Leftwing so called Free Press never covered the locking up of democratic representatives in Belgium the same as they wouldn’t have done in the USA if Bush had done it to Congressional Democrats trying to have a rally.

Why Belgium should never have been liberated.
