The country that once upon a time stood up to Hitler when socialists were not in charge.
Posted by dinosaur under Free Speech , Great Britain“This is madness! Complete and utter insanity. According to Elsevier and Geenstijl (both NL) Geert Wilders has been denied access to the United Kingdom, for fear that his presence may threaten civil disorder and ‘civil harmony’. Wilders was on his way to attend the screening of Fitna in the House of Lords, after the first attempted was thwarted by ‘lord’ Ahmed threatening with a 10,000 strong crowd of islamites in the streets.â€
‘Great Britain is sacrificing freedom of speech,’ said Wilders. ‘You would expect something like this to happen in countries like Saudi Arabia but not in Great Britain. This cowardly act by the British government is a disgrace.

It would appear that Nelson Madella caused “civil disorder”. I would appear that Martin Luther King Jr. caused “civil disorder”.. thank goodness for those countries who permit and in fact support “civil disorder”, or as others would call it, “free expression of unpopular causes”.
Sad. And more than a little frightening.

Hope it’s not the last Nora. The internet is the breaks and the MSM’s are losing not just market share but credibility because of it.
Rob theres a reason I stuck up for an NDPer last year when the green party threatened his freedom of speech.
